After Party?
The Republican primary season has yielded no clear winners, frontrunners or favorites. The four remaining candidates are carving up voters and delegates and the prospect of going into the convention without a nominee is growing. With six months to go, it’s not yet possible to predict who will represent the GOP against Barack Obama in November, but it’s likely the selection process will get very dramatic.

Obama’s “AttackWatch”
I got this email and, in the spirit of education and an informed electorate, thought I would share. To me, it’s funny, yet sad, but decide for yourself. Click in the links and read the reasoning and come back and leave your comments.

Truth and Music
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is ….
I was gonna say “porn for the Right,” but thought that a bit indelicate.
Or, a “buffet of conservative ideals,” but fat guys really shouldn’t use food metaphors.
“A philosophical fun ride” sounds too much like an acid trip – or so I’m told.
Trying to capture the atmosphere at CPAC is tough. One pretty much has to experience it to fully grasp the passion of these 8,000 attendees. This is no horde of wild-eyed demonstrators or strident anarchists. Rather, the tone is deliberate and informed, as a collective surgeon preparing for a delicate, life-slaving prodecure.

Rep. Paul Ryan: A Time for Choosing – Health Care
Our long-term fiscal problem is clear: Medicare and Medicaid spending is driving the U.S. further into debt and toward the most predictable economic collapse in our nation’s history. Unless action is taken now, these critical safety nets will no longer exist for those who need them most.
