President Obama is taking a page from his Indonesian counterpart’s book of executive imagery:
Enraged by protesters likening him to a “big and stupid” water buffalo, Indonesia’s president has ordered the beasts and other animals banned at street rallies, a decision some Indonesians said shows their leader can’t handle criticism. AP
With concern for similar unflattering comparisons, Obama has now directed that balloons – a thin skin filled with air or inert gases that rapidly deflate – are now banned from all of his appearances.
