No Shame!

Administration officials faulted the National Security Agency for not calling attention to intercepted communications from Yemen during the late summer and fall referring to a “Nigerian” being readied for an al-Qaeda attack, as well as what some intelligence officials said were direct conversations there between Abdulmutallab, whose name was unknown at the time, and radical American Yemeni cleric Anwar al-Aulaqi.    Washington Post

The President of the United States has no shame.  He also has no idea how intelligence works.  This seriously flawed “Commander-in-Chief” looks for anyone to blame rather than showing leadership.

Wanna place a sure-thing bet?  The National Security Agency is NOT at fault for withholding, downplaying, obfuscating or minimizing ANY information it had on The Underwear Nigerian.

At all.

Period.

Yet, this neophyte hand-puppet of a president will place blame on an agency of above-competent, dedicated professionals rather than admit that his own appointed bumblers are the least bit culpable.

I know the people of NSA.  I know the managers, supervisors and watch officers.  I know the Director, Lt. Gen. Keith Alexander.  All of them would cut off their own arms and beat themselves to death with the wet end before purposely doing ANYthing that would jeopardize the safety and security of this country.

Blaming America”s most effective intelligence agency is akin to blaming the dog for passing gas. Didn’t do it and can’t defend.

The National Security Agency cannot publicly respond to these presidential slanders. But consider that when NSA goes to Congress to testify or provide briefings, either in open or closed sessions, the agency gets bipartisan and, often, unanimous accolades for the work it does and the manner in which it does it.  Some Congressmen (curiously, usually Democrats) will try to gain cheap points with mild criticism in the press after praising the agency in private, but the fact is that NSA enjoys great respect from Congress, intelligence and diplomatic professionals and, most importantly, the military.

And keep in mind that NSA is part of the Department of Defense and about half of the agency’s population is military.  Many of those service men and women – as well as a large number of civilians – are deployed overseas, quite a few in dangerous locales.

Yet, in the public arena, the “president” does the “Look!  Over There!” maneuver because he is a spineless incompetent whose qualifications for the job fall somewhere between Larry The Cable Guy and Sham-Wow Vince.

In fact, given his past (whatever THAT is), his associations and the lack of a valid birth certificate, Barack Hussein Obama most likely could not get hired at NSA or any other government agency requiring background checks or polygraphs.

And HE makes snap judgments on the professionalism of the intelligence community?

Shame on him!

Obama always stays out of the blame radius, that is his Modus Operndi. He votes present while in the Illinois senate, pulls Chicago politics to get elected, refuses to release his overseas travels while on college and the list goes on. He recently signed Executive Order 12425, giving INTERPOL the privileges and immunities afforded foreign diplomats and also exempting them from the 4th Amendment. Is he attempting to circumvent the Constitution or exposing us to arrest and trial in the world court?

I, for one, am rooting for the CIA or FBI to bring this p.o.s. down. You do NOT EVER do this to any arm of your intelligence community.

You said it here: “The National Security Agency cannot publicly respond to these presidential slanders.”

NSA can’t respond, no matter how false and stupid the accusations. It’s what makes them the perfect scapegoat. He can point fingers at NSA all day, and there’s nothing they can say to refute his ridiculous claims.
