I’m all for freedom of speech, dissenting opinions, the arena of debate, diversity of ideas, etc., and I respect the rights of Americans to voice their thoughts on anything.
BUT, when this bag of festering meat refers to the United States Military Academy as an “enemy camp” for the Commander-in-Chief – during a time of conflict – he identifies himself as an opponent to our military.
He called West Point an “enemy camp.” That’s not just a difference of opinion on the country’s defense policies, it’s a jihad against our men and women in uniform.
This is the same SOB who got such a “thrill going up [his] leg” over President Obama’s speech-making. That’s fine. I don’t give a rat’s ass about Matthews’ leg or how he gets his thrills, but for MSNBC to employ a “journalist” who has declared our military “the enemy” is unconscionable.
This is far worse than “nappy-headed hoes” and even minimizes all the slander heaped on Sarah Palin by the media.
The media. How they love to talk about how the rest of the world hates the United States. Well, we can thank Chris Matthews and MSNBC – which also employs the useless Keith Olbermann – for giving our adversaries more and more ammunition for their hate.
Chris Matthews can keep his opinion and run it up his leg and up his ass for all I care, but MSNBC should show some respect for our military by refusing to tolerate his hatred and fire him immediately.

If Chris Matthews himself believes this “enemy camp” “self-promoting-liberal-probaganda-latrine filling-hype” then every U.S. Military Installation, Ft. Bragg, Ft. Dix, Ft. Benning, Ft. Sill, etc. is an enemy camp because the graduates of this “enemy camp” are serving American and protecting America everywhere.
Dear Chris – You now go must down the list of Firebases and FOBs in Iraq and Afghanistan – Germany, Korea – etc and you will find West Point Graduates are everywhere…by your logic “…no place in America is safe…”

As the father of a Cadet, I believe that Chris Matthews has no place on the public airwaves. These cadets were herded into Ike Hall and sat there for three hours waiting for the speech. Thenthey were fed meals out of a box. It is nearly the end of the semester and these Cadets all had work that they need to get done-no time extensions for them! It is a little hard to get too excited when you have been up since 5:30, thats in the A.M. for you Chris. Anyone who has ever been around a cadet knows that if they sit down, they go to sleep! Of course Mr. Matthews has better things to do than to actually spend time around these fine men and women! It is time for a nationwide protest of NBC until this poor excuse for a news reporter is fired. Who is going to get it started!
