Whenever issues or stories specific to women become news, I keep looking for some reaction from the National Organization (for?) Women. Given NOW’s agenda, it’s not a surprise when they remain silent if there is negative press for the left involved.
Remember Monica Lewinski? NOW doesn’t.
Laud a female Vice Presidential Candidate? Not if she’s a Republican. But NOW’s website IS all aflutter over Diane Sawyer (“finally”) becoming the anchor at ABC News.
On that feminist screed, you’ll also find complaints about racial profiling in Arizona:
Last weekend, (Maricopa County Sheriff Joe) Arpaio led yet another “sweep” through the “El Gran Mercado” Phoenix swap meet, terrorizing Latino families – many citizens – out to enjoy some shopping, sunshine and live music. 30 undocumented immigrants were arrested on Saturday alone. As in other raids, we can expect they will face cruel detention conditions, for extended periods of time, without rights.
Hmmm.. “30 undocumented immigrants were arrested.” Shame on Sheriff Arpaio for doing his job!.
And, in a post titled “Busted! Right Wing Women’s Group Caught in the Big Lie,” NOW Government Relations Director Jan Erickson conveniently neglected to correct the alleged falsehood.
Considering the critical issues facing today’s women, particularly the assault on their bodies and their minds by MEN, I was anxious to read of NOW’s condemnation of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) after the airing of video showing two ACORN offices assisting a “pimp” and a “prostitute” set up a brothel with UNDER-AGED GIRLS.
Well, there IS no reaction. None. Nada. Zip. NOW must be waiting for the MAN in the White House to tell them what to do and say.
If subjugating women to white slavery is overlooked, how can NOW or anyone else allow even casual conversation about prostituting little girls?
[At this point I'll also call out the Baltimore and District of Columbia District Attorney's.]
Because it has buried it’s face in a left-wing snood and is silent on this atrocity, NOW IS COMPLICIT IN THE SEX TRAFFICKING OF UNDER-AGED GIRLS.
Maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised. NOW has been the brothel of the left for decades.

“30 undocumented immigrants were arrested.” = 30 illegal aliens.
30 illegal aliens = the possibility that each of these individuals has also smuggled numerous family members into the US that owe their existence to various “social programs.” You know, the kind of social programs that have contributed to California’s economic demise and will soon have Californians living a “third world” lifestyle. Illegal aliens, another one of my pet peeves. The liberals treat them like the Kennedy’s of Mexico.
Now, back to NOW, a political advocacy group for liberal women. If you are not a liberal democrat woman, belong to the approved groups, and don’t sip the NOW Kool-Aid every day, you can forget them screeching for your rights. And in some rare occasions, a woman could meet all these requirements and still have the contents of her underwear violated and they say nothing, just ask Monica.
It was during the Clinton administration that really locked in their public perception that they are nothing more than a political advocacy group.
All the details are out about the situation. Clinton violated one one the basic tenets of their sexual harassment orthodoxy. A strong powerful, overbearing, organizationally senior man took advantage of a poor dear, stupid, inexperienced young girl.(it should have mattered not that she was uglier than the business end of a sewer pipe) NOW stayed mum. NOW should have put out a national call to marshal the female forces; you should have heard “bitch switches’ being flipped to the on position nationwide.
NOW, just don’t get in the way of our political advocacy.
That woman needs to put some clothes on…
