Joe Wilson was brought up with no manners, and provides another reason to be embarrassed about living in South Carolina. It was with great pleasure that I donated money to Rob Miller’s campaign today. Also notified a national political blog this morning about the nasty editorial that Joe Wilson wrote for THE STATE newspaper about Strom Thurmond’s eldest daughter a few years ago. It was on their website this afternoon and Keith Olbermann made reference to it this evening.

I came to a conclusion about Wilson’s remark. I will hold it to myself. It did get me to thinking about passion in politics. Where’s the passion from Conservatives in Washington. As evidence that my longings are being deprived, I offer for your examination the Republican rebuttal to Obama last night. The doctor from Louisiana seemed a nice guy but, maybe he could have used some of Wilson’s passion.

Personally I think they ought to give Wilson the Congressional Medal of Honor. The real question though is not where in his speech did Obama lie. The real question is where did he even once tell the truth?

The real disrespect of the office of the President lies with Obama who thinks that somehow being President entitles him to have America believe his lies.
