The person I had in mind when I wrote my last post has announced her candidacy for the GOP nomination for Governor of South Carolina.
Rep. Nikki Haley has jumped in the testosterone thick waters of state-wide politics and I’m glad for it.
A true conservative, smart, fresh ideas and the kind of populist politician that could force the ol’ boys in the Chamber to get off their rear ends (and the throat of progress) and do what’s right.
THIS is gonna be a helluva race!
I am not familiar with her but do know that my eyes have opened to political corruption in it’s greatest form. As a life long Democrat I am a shamed to admit it due to recent behavior of this party and taking the time to look further. We are losing America’s base values and common sense no longer exist. I am a conservative that will no longer sit back and allow career politicians who forget how they obtained their office as they must remember, We The People !!! I will keep an eye on her and may the best REAL and HONEST person win, if that exist on politics.

Just like the Democrats leaving us now it seems the Republicans wish to do the same. People are getting sick and tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. I hope Nikki is just as Independant as Sanford. I notice Linseed Graham said there was no place in the party for Libertarians but he sure draws from the Liberals and snuggles up to them. The Republican Party is destroying itself with little Democrat help. Even though I disagree with Ron Paul on a few issues I find it invigorating to see a man I can trust and one who does not bend with the wind. Ron Paul is an honest politician from what I read,I do not know him personally but I will take my chances with him before I do with the establishment that now runs the Republican Party. Sink or swim Republicans you are no different than the Democrats it is all about your power and prestege not about the everyday American. I have supported the Republicans State and National and even donated to them the past 15 years but no more.
