Thanks, William ... mostly for making my point. "You lost that election" is just the sort of arrogance to which I was referring. My candidate didn't win, so I can't voice an opinion. Actually, that's probably right given the push for the oddly named "fairness doctrine."

Anyway, glad to know that the economic stimulus package - forged in the wake of a credit crisis and banking malfeasance is gonna save us by funding projects that (1) are temporary and (2) enable mostly low-wage jobs. Heaven forbid the stimulus goes to that part of the economy that needs it.

By the way, your throwaway line about Bush and contracting is either uneducated or you chose to lie. I work for the Federal government and have long WISHED we could go sole source for proven contractors. Nope. The law didn't allow and no matter how well a contract was serviced or the expertise of the contracted company, we had to re-bid.

Gee.. wouldn't it be nice (for you) if Dems could get away with Barney Frank lies, Chris Dodd subterfuge and broken Obama promises?

PS- "I don't know what is going on, that is your fault" is one of the core operative methods of the Republican culture of stupid. You lost that election. The current, acceptable response is I looked it up and here is what I found and this is what is right/wrong about it. Damning Obama for not inserting information into your head and complaining that government is too complicated just doesn't work.

The world is complicated now and it's not going to be simple again. The options are currently do your homework or be irrelevant.
