The Clintons are making this campaign far too easy for conservatives and Republicans. Hillary’s desperate rants, shrill protestations and overall whining provide beautiful fodder for those who have long detested her.

And Ol’ Bill is right by her side, helping out. The latest tirade against Bill Richardson is very telling when carefully dissected.

First, Richardson turning on the Clintons is an indication of how much the Party wants to shed these two.

Second, Bill Clinton’s rage over Richardson’s endorsement of Obama shows us how much he believes that pick will hurt Hillary’s campaign. It’s a two-sided ax – one being the Hispanic influence and the other the super-delegate impact.

Third, lashing out is the Clinton’s way of trying to keep themselves afloat. The more savage they get, the more certain you can be that they believe they’re in BIG trouble. Following Her Majesty’s Tuzla fable and now her precipitous drop in the Pennsylvania polls, Billary has gotten more and more brutal. They have gone after Nancy Pelosi and are now bull-horning super-delegates that Obama can’t win.

No sports team, league, championship, tournament or season has given us this much magnificent competitive excitement in a very long time. In a way, it’s like a NASCAR short-track race. Bunching up, one pulling away only to have the other catch up, crashes, bumps, flipping birds out the window and, since it’s the Democrats, all left turns.
